Welcome to the Philosophy Department at Edmonds Community College

The Philosophy Department offers a well balanced set of courses that explore a broad spectrum of philosophical disciplines. Our mission is to provide students with the opportunity to study the intellectual history of humankind in a way that will stimulate them to continue independent inquiries in any scientific field.

We also strive to give students the formal tools necessary to undertake any theoretical or practical challenges in their educational and professional careers as well as in their daily personal affairs.
